This was beautiful! My heart both ached with sadness and flew with joy. I cried, I laughed, I bawled, and I smiled so hard my face hurt! This book put me through the wringer! It was so poignant and heartbreaking, love affirming, and just plain brilliant! Friends to lovers, from running away scared to coming home and finding acceptance (while still running scared time and again), to soul scorching love. Did I mention steamy? The heat level was off the charts, and I’m not just talking about sexy times but just plain chemistry between the characters. I felt so much reading this I’m kinda reeling in the aftermath in a book coma. Bravo, genius author, I’m totally buying a paperback if it’s available for my trophy shelf. And definitely a few more of your books. I’m officially wrecked. DeDelectable was different in story and writing from Ann Grech other books. I couldn’t wait to read Delectable- it was spinoff of her Unexpected series and beginning of her new seris. I find that liked Delectable but found it hard to finish. I did find opening very realistic and well written being with Cooper in battle and showing what was the reason for Cooper’s PTSD.She portrayed Connor’s PTSD well and very realistic!I enjoyed the Connor, Katey, and Levi, as individuals. As threesome, I didn’t like; to me it would be better as a couples story. The needs, want, and balance for the three to become a threesome weren’t there for me. I found I was more interested in Levi and Connor becoming a couple; Katy to me was more the third wheel.I did not get a feel/foreshadow for a secondary character that will be the main character for the next book in this Gold Coast series.I ❤️ her Unexpected series and Always Him - all were 🔥🔥😮😘Whiteout was the first of Ann Grech books I read.Before I finished reading Whiteout, I ordered White Noise. I could not wait to read the next books in the series- pager turners that kept me on the edge of my seat. Always Him also was pager turn - loved it and 🔥My hopes are Ann Grech goes back to her M/M romance written in her former style.I am wondering what will be the story for the next book in this new series. M/M romance? Looking forward to see what comes next in the Gold Coast series.
